Mr. Pham Quoc Tuan- Senior Advisor for Forestry and FSC of CORENACCA directly caried out the basic contents of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) sustainable forest certification. FSC was established in 1993 in Toronto – Canada, this is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established to maintain and ensure a system of responsible sustainable forest management, FSC operates in 80 countries. countries including Vietnam. The Northeast Forestry Company is located in Lang Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, Nghe An Province. The company manages more than 2,000 hectares of forests, of which more than 400 hectares of natural forests are protection forests. Production forest area is more than 1,700 hectares, mainly growing raw acacia. The company has a CoC (Chain of Custody) certificate of Chain of Custody. Northeast Forestry Company is gradually striving to manage FSC certified forests in the future so that wood products can be exported to Europe and the US, Japan and Korea more easily and with higher profits. . Sustainable forest management is to ensure the harmony between business and economic development of enterprises and good environmental protection as well as social security.
