What solution for planting mangrove where there are big waves

In recent years, government projects as well as international organizations supporting coastal areas to plant  mangrove forests have encountered many difficulties, such as big waves, garbage and barnacle attached young tree and dead or underdeveloped.

In order to overcome the above problems, the projects have been initiated before the planting of mangroves, which made the fence of bamboo with two main purposes: to create the beach and break the waves. Large waves are often deposited and then drifted out to the sea, so we need to make a T-bar fence to deposit silt and when tidal water retains mud. After a period of stable sedimentation will plant mangrove trees will grow well because there are barriers to protect the waves and enough silt to develop plants.

In Hai Loc and Da Loc, Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province is now applying measures to create fences and break waves, so planting coastal forests to protect dykes is a good and effective solution. We should apply a wide variety of these models to the sites of weak tree planting and large wind shear to protect young trees and develop sustainable Mangrove forests.
