Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations (TUSTA) visits the project funded by the Bread for the World 10/01/2023 admin Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations (TUSTA) visits the project funded by the Bread for the World 07/01/2023 Hoàng Nguyệt On December 28, 2023, a representative of TUSTA team visited and monitored the livelihood models and mangrove nursery garden of the Community-Based Mangrove Management project to enhance resilience to climate change risks in Thanh Hoa province. The team checked the models of bio-fertilizers; beekeeping and mangrove seedling nursery in Nga Thuy commune, Nga Son, Thanh Hoa. Mr. Le Van Thu’s family – Hung Dao village: The family only uses Bio- fertilizers, not nitrogen fertilizers because of high yield and economic efficiency. Currently, households in the Hung Dao village are also making bio-fertilizers to replace chemical fertilizers. With the beekeeping model, visiting the household of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai from Do Luong village, she said that she has raised 07 boxes of bees, each box has 7-8 bee bridges. Currently, the bees have brought the family a certain source of income. Hai’s family wishes to replicate and promote more and more beekeeping models. With the mangrove nursery garden, it has been established for nearly 8 months and is now growing very well. The project has a very strong fence around to prevent animal livestock from entering and causing damage and to ensure the safety of seedlings.
